- 4 whole avocados
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tomato option, chopped
- 1 clove garlic crushed garlic
- 1 -2 dash tabasco sauce optional
- salt & pepper to taste
Halve the avocados with a sharp knife. With the blade of the knife extract the seed. Inspect the seed, we have several avocado trees started from these seeds. They don't yield fruit for us because of our location, but they are a nice looking tree.
With a spoon scope out the contents of the halved avocados in a mixing bowl. Add the lime juice. With a fork or a potato masher, mash the contents of the bowl.
add all the other ingredients and mix well. Taste, add more salt, pepper or tabasco if desire. Serve in a dish as a condiment, a dip for chips or just about any Tex-Mex dish. Just remember to get to the table before it is gone!
