Ingredients

  • 16 oz steak sliced thinly
  • 1 whole onion thinly sliced
  • 1 red pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 green pepper thinly sliced
  • 6 oz soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 pints water
  • 2 cloves garlic finely grated
  • 1 ginger finely grated, about thumbsize
  • 1/2 cup chestnut mushroom thinly sliced
  • 1 whole scallion green onions, sliced fine
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 egg Fried (optional)
  • 2 tbsp sesame seed oil
  • 12 oz noodles oriental medium size

Instructions

Prepare the sauce

  • Combine the soy-sauce and finely grated Ginger in a bowl.
  • Add the water, and set aside.

Prepare and season the meat

  • Slice the steak thinly and place in a bowl with salt, pepper and the finely grated garlic. Add a 1/4 cup of olive oil and mix well.
  • Cover and let marinate for at least 1 hour. Meat can be prepared up to 24 hours before for the best flavor.

Veggie Prep

  • Slice and prepare your ingredients to be added to the stir fry. Set aside until the meet is ready.

Finish the meal

  • In a very hot wok pot, add olive oil and quickly cook the marinated meat.
  • Add the thinly sliced mushrooms and cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Toss in the stir-fry vegetables and cook for about 5 minutes mixing well. Avoid cooking too long. The goal is to keep the the veggies crisp.
  • In a separate pot of almost boiling water. Add the asian noodles. Once they are appear to be getting soft, take the pot off the heat cover and finish the meat and sauce.
  • Add the Sauce to the meat mixture. Remove the from the stove and add the sesame seed oil to the sauce.
  • Plate the dish in a large bowl. Add a portion of noodles in the center of the bowl. Combine the sauce and meet on top of the noodles with enough sauce to make it kind of soupy.
  • Top with the green onions and chopped corriander.
